Original Jaffa Cakes have been around for decades, with their staple orange filling being adored by many.

But there’s now a new flavour on the block, as McVitie’s is launching a pineapple flavoured twist on the classic treat.

Limited edition flavour

The new pineapple Jaffa Cake has a normal cake base and covering of chocolate on the top, but the jelly layer in the middle is pineapple flavoured.

This new fruity flavour is a limited edition, and will be available alongside the orange flavour, and both the strawberry and lemon and lime flavours - which were originally limited editions, but became a permanent edition to the Jaffa Cakes offering.

Where can I buy pineapple flavoured Jaffa Cakes and how much do they cost?

Boxes of the new tropical flavour are available to buy now at Morrisons. They can be purchased both in store and online. You can get 10 Jaffa Cakes for £1.

You can also buy the new flavour in a cake bar version, with Tesco selling five of the cake bars for 65p.

Someone posted a photo of the new Jaffa Cakes, writing, “These look amazing. Can never get enough pineapple flavoured products. Especially jaffa cakes.”
