Appeal for information after money stolen during south Belfast robbery

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Piney Lane area of south Belfast.

Detective Sergeant Young said: “Sometime between 11:30am on Monday 15th August and 1:10am on Tuesday 16th August, it was reported that entry was gained via the rear of a house in the area.

"It was reported that a sum of money was taken during the incident.

"A number of rooms were also entered, but it is not believed that anything else was taken at this time.

“Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 78 16/08/22.
